Excelerate is currently working with an esteemed digital eCommerce servicing business and marketing services company. After recent success, they are expanding their team and looking to bring on a Senior Network Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in engineering design and oversee the day to day running of the complex communication networks.
Responsibilities for the Senior Network Engineer will include (but are not limited to):
Configure and install various network devices & services.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
Provide Level 2/3 Support to help resolve issues in a customer facing environment.
Work within the Infrastructure team in supporting and delivering all aspects of BAU/Projects and support services
Skills required for the Senior Network Engineer include (but are not limited to):
Previous experience as a Network Engineer with CISCO Certification (CCNA) is desirable.
Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure & Network Hardware along with a deep understanding of Networking Protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF) is a must.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Automations (Terraform and Python etc) is a must.
Strong communication skills are a must in this customer facing role.
