Excelerate is currently working with an esteemed digital eCommerce servicing business and marketing services company. After recent success, they are expanding their team and looking to bring on a Data Warehouse Data Modeller to join their team.
Responsibilities for the Data Warehouse Data Modeller will include (but are not limited to):
Model data from both on premise and cloud-based enterprise back office and data platforms and external 3rd party data providers into the target logical and physical data warehouse models
Design performant and reliable physical data models, ensuring a good balance between technology resilience and user flexibility
Skills required for the Data Warehouse Data Modeller include (but are not limited to):
Knowledge and experience of physical database design and the principles of data warehousing including a good understanding of the appropriate use of different types of schema designs, including Snowflake, Star, Constellation, Starflake, etc.
Knowledge and experience in developing conceptual, logical and physical data models using data modelling tools such as ERwin or Visio; Erwin is preferable.
Knowledge and experience in developing, documenting and sharing data definition.
A team player with good conceptual, written and verbal communication skills
