Our client is a globally recognised IT services provider who partner with some of the world’s largest and cutting edge technology vendors.Due to recent success and recent demand, our client is urgently seeking to expand its Infrastructure architecture and consultancy team. This opportunity will offer someone with exposure to VMWare to work with some complex, large scale projects throughout the UK. The context of exposure will be consulting, pre-sales and post sales architecture and delivery, but you must also have experience in leading the pre-sales process.
The successful candidate within this Architecture team will be required to perform UK Wide travel within a pre-sales capacity and shape pre-sales opportunities and articulate business and technical strategy to customers and internal clients.
Responsibilities for the VMWare Presales Architect will include (but are not limited to):
·Be a technical leader in the VMWare space, you’ll have a say and input into the design and implementation of VMware Solutions.
·Work closely with partners and customers to ensure you understand their requirements and implement the best possible solutions
·Working closely with the CTO and Practice lead to adopt the technical direction
·Provide internal and external customers with technical support
Skills required for the VMWare Presales Architect include (but are not limited to):
·The ideal candidate will need to have experience leading the pre-sales process, not just involved in pre-sales. This role will be 80% pre-sales leadership
·You must have at least 5 years of hands on, technical experience on implementing VMWare solutions
·Vmware Certified: VCP7-CMA or VCP6-DC
· Experienced working with enterprise customers, understanding how their architected and come from a pre-sales background.
