  • Job Description:

DXC supports leading Investment Bank's Infrastructure and Data Centers , managing Design, new Build, Deployment, Infrastructure support post build – managing availability and capacity of the infrastructure, performance tuning , service restoration, upgrade and critical incident management.

We are looking for a senior engineer with experience in the banking sector, client facing is an advantage.


The ideal candidate will have the significant exposure to the following below:

    • Experience in installation, configuration, patching, upgradation, migration & administration of Oracle 10g, 11g & 12c RAC, Oracle 18c databases.

    • Experience in supporting environments consisting PROD-UAT for oracle databases starting from Version 10g, 11g and 12c

    • Hands on experience in RAC, DataGuard and RMAN.

    • Knowledge of ASM and cluster control

    • Troubleshooting the performance issues related to database, queries and issues related to RAC and DR.

    • Database migration (with all standard approaches like impdp, TTS, X-TTS, RMAN)

    • Complex inter/cross platform migrations from legacy to new platform

    • Good analytical knowledge of AWR, ASH, ASM/ACFS and ADDM reports

    • Knowledge on SQLT, SQL Plan Management (SPM), Linux shell scripting

    • Good to have knowledge on OEM , Oracle 18c, Oracle Exadata DBA support.

    • Good to have knowledge on cloud technologies.

    • Good troubleshooting skills

Please, note that travels to the office in will be required.

The ideal candidate will need to be eligible for certain clearances.
