Excelerate is partnering with a global professional services consultancy, which, after recent success, is seeking a Application Security Analyst to join their team on a permanent base. The successful candidate will be working closely with Development Teams and be responsible for conducting risk analysis as well as Threat Modelling to build secure products from scratch.

Responsibilities for the Application Security Analyst will include (but are not limited to):

• You will be hands-on and work with the Development Team to build security solutions.
• You will work with the Development and Product Teams to deliver and develop secure products and features for the business, suppliers and customers.
• You will provide support and training to the Development Teams and keep them up-to-date with secure coding practices.

Skills required for the Application Security Analyst include (but are not limited to):

• 3 years experience within Secure Software Development, Penetration Testing or Application Security is a must.
• Hands-on experience in Threat Modelling and experience with Application security concepts and principles and how they apply across the SDLC are a bonus.
• Exposure to open source security tools and Static Code Analysis are beneficial.
• German language skills are highly desirable.
